The bookshelf comprises 12 books, encompassing a diverse range of genres from novels, diaries, and memoirs to books about famous national and international figures. Notable novels include "Footprints of a Soldier" (Nguyen Minh Chau), "Man and I" (Phan Tu), and " Under the Clouds the Color of Heron Wings " (Thu Bon), which depict the resistance war against the US, the image of the soldier, comradeship, and love between couples amidst the flames of war.

Diaries and memoirs such as "Forever Twenty" by martyr Nguyen Van Thac or "Homeland - My Country" by Le Quang Vinh help readers gain a deeper understanding of the ideals and love for the country of previous generations.

The bookshelf also features works about world greats such as *Young Karl Marx* , * How the Steel Was Tempered*, etc., which inspire perseverance, dedication, and ideals in life.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi Quynh Lien, Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of Kim Dong Publishing House, expressed her hope that the Youth Book Collection would become a companion for Vietnamese youth, so that with each book, a journey of contribution would begin.

In response to the "Every young person a book as a companion" movement, 340 sets of books were sent to 34 provincial and city youth unions to encourage young people to build libraries at the grassroots level, nurturing knowledge, character, and a positive lifestyle.
