Reviewing preparations for organizing the New Year's Eve 2025 program.

This afternoon, December 23rd, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL) held a meeting with relevant departments, agencies, and units to review the preparations for organizing the New Year's Eve 2025 program (Countdown Camel Quang Tri 2025).

The New Year's Eve 2025 program was held on the evening of December 31, 2024, at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center square with the theme "A New Year of Courage"; it included a ceremonial part themed "Unleashing Courage" and a festive part themed "Unlimited Courage".

The program is organized by Camel Vietnam Trading Joint Stock Company; the implementing unit is Hoang Phuc Communication Services Joint Stock Company. The program aims to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, encouraging and motivating officials, Party members, and all sectors of the population as 2024 draws to a close and 2025 is welcomed. It also serves the entertainment needs of the people and is an opportunity to attract domestic and international tourists, promoting the province's economic , cultural, and tourism potential and strengths.

In carrying out the assigned tasks according to the plan, the relevant departments, agencies, units, and localities have proactively developed their own plans and strategies, while coordinating closely and synchronously to successfully implement the program, ensuring safety, practicality, effectiveness, and compliance with legal regulations.

During the meeting, representatives from various departments and units exchanged views on traffic flow management, parking arrangements, electricity supply, registration and management of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and more.

Camel Vietnam Trading Joint Stock Company proposed cooperation and support in communication and advertising; the live television broadcast time should start at 9 PM instead of 9:30 PM; permission to set up a booth to display and introduce products within the program; and a fireworks display with 60 sets of fireworks.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Minh Tuan, provided further information on issues of concern to the delegates; other proposals will be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution. To ensure the success of the New Year 2025 program, relevant departments, agencies, and units are requested to proactively coordinate and implement their assigned tasks promptly and effectively.

In addition, it is requested that the Provincial Police prepare plans to ensure security and order and coordinate with the Department of Transport to organize reasonable traffic flow, and announce parking diagrams in advance; the Provincial Military Command coordinates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize early registration and strict management of the number and types of unmanned aerial vehicles; ensure smooth transmission of live television broadcasts, strengthen mobile broadcasting towers to serve the livestreaming needs of residents and tourists; and ensure safety during the fireworks display.

Ambulances and medical personnel will be on standby to handle any health-related incidents throughout the event. Coordination efforts will ensure proper environmental sanitation before, during, and after the event.
