
After completing the preliminary round, the 16 best teams were announced and proceeded to the draw for the group stage of the Robocon Vietnam 2026 Finals.


The organizers, along with representatives from the Top 16 teams, drew lots to divide the teams into groups and answered questions from the participating teams.
In the group stage, the 16 participating teams are drawn into 4 groups (A, B, C, D), with 4 teams in each group, playing a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group advance to the second round. The teams are drawn into groups according to the following principle:

The tentative schedule for the Robocon Vietnam 2026 Finals is as follows.
- Teams from the same school will not face each other in the group stage.
- Schools with the most participating teams will be prioritized for the draw.
- The teams' positions in the group are numbered: 1, 2, 3, 4
- Each group will play a single round-robin tournament, with points awarded as follows: Win: 3; Loss: 0
- Criteria for determining win/loss in a match:
The team that achieves "Kung Fu Master" will win.
The team with the higher total score will win.
+ In the event of a tie at the end of regular time, the criteria for determining the winning team are as follows:
* The team with the higher total Tic-Tac-Toe score.
* The team with the higher total KFS points in Arena.
* The team with the higher total points in the Martial Club
The winning team will be decided by the judging panel.
- Rankings in the Table are based on competition performance in the following order of priority:
+ Total match points (more wins)
+ The team with the most absolute victories in "Kung Fu Master"
For each match, take the time taken to achieve a perfect victory (if any), add them up, and then divide by the average of the number of times a perfect victory was achieved. The team with the shorter average time will be ranked higher.
The total points earned are averaged across all matches. The team with the higher average total points is ranked higher.
For each match, the "Tic-Tac-Toe Score" is taken, added up, and then averaged across all matches. The team with the higher average score is ranked higher.
For each match, the "KFS points in Arena" are taken, totaled, and then averaged across all matches. The team with the higher average total points is ranked higher.
For each match, take the "Points scored at Martial Club", add them up, and then divide by the total number of matches to get the average. The team with the higher average total points is ranked higher.
At the end of the group stage, based on their performance, the group winners are ranked from 1st to 4th, and the group runners-up are ranked from 5th to 8th. The ranking is based on the following priority order:
- Total match points (more wins)
- The team with the most absolute victories in "Kung Fu Master"
