A lively night performance in a remote area.

On the evening of May 1st, a lively musical performance and interaction with famous singers from the city took place in the spacious courtyard of the Hoc Mon Children's House (Hoc Mon commune).

The cheerful and vibrant musical melodies, praising the homeland, Ho Chi Minh City, and today's youth, in the Ho Chi Minh City - Reaching New Heights art program, directed by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports and implemented by the City Arts Center, captivated many residents of Hoc Mon commune and neighboring communes.

Songs like "A Tour Around Vietnam, " "Ho Chi Minh City, My Beloved City," "Flying Over the East Sea," "Joining Hands," "Beautiful Life ," etc., along with the circus act "Love on Roller Skates ," captivated the audience, drawing enthusiastic attention, admiration, and applause.

Enjoying the performance, Ms. Chung Thuy (Tan Hiep commune), Mr. Quang Hai (Xuan Thoi Son commune), and several other audience members shared that they learned about the program through following the "I am a resident of Hoc Mon" fanpage. Everyone was excited and delighted to hear the live performances and interact with famous singers such as Phuong Thanh and Nguyen Phi Hung. For the local people, the program was truly captivating, bringing much joy and enjoyable entertainment during the holiday.

Understanding this, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, along with many wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City, has coordinated to invite professional art units to bring meaningful artistic programs featuring many famous singers and artists to the people.

During the recent April 30th and May 1st holidays alone, art troupes performed in many wards and communes: Binh Loi Trung, Long Binh, Binh Trung, Xuan Thoi Son, Phu Tho Hoa, etc., showcasing various art forms such as music, variety shows, circus, puppetry, traditional opera, and reformed opera; thereby contributing to enriching the spiritual lives of residents and workers in areas far from the city center.
