Taking place from October 2 to 5, this year’s festival offers a variety of exciting activities. Children can directly experience pottery making, folk painting, figurine making, lantern making, and moon cake wrapping under the guidance of artisans.
In addition, children can enjoy lion and dragon dances, circus shows, exciting sports and physical games; and learn self-protection skills through activities such as "I am a firefighter" and "Drive safely".
At the festival, the space of knowledge and creativity opens up many opportunities for children to unleash their imagination. Interesting books, vivid pictures, costumes of Hang and Cuoi designed by the children themselves or attractive science games will arouse curiosity, sow dreams and nurture the desire to live a beautiful life.

The special highlight of the festival is the program “Moon of Love” which brings meaningful gifts to students in difficult circumstances, who know how to excel in their studies, and at the same time creates a “common home” - where disabled children and autistic children are loved, respected and given the opportunity to shine in their own way. This is the profound humane message of this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, contributing to spreading love and the spirit of sharing in the community.
The Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere is even more bustling with art exchange programs, circus performances, puppetry, children's music and dance, costume festivals, and fruit tray display competitions. In particular, the Full Moon Festival with lantern processions, lion dances, and feasts... will fully recreate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere.
During the opening ceremony, art performances such as Mid-Autumn Festival in the Streets, August Lantern Procession, Cuoi the Foolish, Uncle Cuoi Playing with the Moon, Bong Bong Bang Bang... brought vibrant colors, making Mid-Autumn Festival truly a complete festival of childhood.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is an annual event hosted by the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center, in coordination with many organizations. Through each season, the event not only brings joy to children but also demonstrates the deep concern of the whole society for the young generation with the wish that they can study and play in a safe environment and develop comprehensively.
