The opening Lion and Dragon dance performance received enthusiastic response from the children.

Despite the prolonged rainy weather, many families came to the pagoda early to attend the festival. Here, children were given funny lanterns and enjoyed a cultural program with many special performances.

The children got to watch the Lion Dance, listen to familiar hometown melodies, and watch the witty skit “The Legend of the Banyan Tree and Uncle Cuoi” by the Bac Son Love Song Troupe. In addition, there were lively performances by school art troupes and talent clubs, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere.

Lively and energetic performance

On this occasion, the program organized an award ceremony for the winners of the Letter to Sister Hang contest. This is an activity organized by the temple from September 22-28 to help children express their thoughts, feelings, and dreams through prose, poetry, etc.

Abbot of An Tho Pagoda, Venerable Thich Le Ngon, awarded prizes to the winners of the Letter to Sister Hang contest.

In addition, the temple also arranged a buffet area with more than 30 food stalls to serve the people and children who came to participate.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an annual activity at An Tho Pagoda, now in its 10th season. The program not only brings joy to children but also spreads the message of filial piety and the spirit of sharing. During the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, An Tho Pagoda will give about 1,500 gifts to children in the province./.
