The fascinating national scenic spot of Ao Ba Om.

(CTO) - With its stunning natural scenery and hundreds of unique ancient trees, Ao Ba Om National Scenic Area is an ideal choice for tourists from near and far when visiting Nguyet Hoa ward, Vinh Long province.

Ao Ba Om is located about 5km from the center of the former Tra Vinh City, along National Highway 53. It is notable for its tall, lush green trees providing ample shade. The Ao Ba Om area covers approximately 300 hectares, including the pond, its banks, and the surrounding ancient forest.

Ao Ba Om is also known as the square pond because, viewed from above, it is almost square in shape. In 1994, Ao Ba Om was classified as a National Historical and Cultural Monument by the Ministry of Culture and Information, under the category of Scenic Spot.
