In the Ho Chi Minh Square area (Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province), the decoration work has been completed with clusters of propaganda panels and large banners carrying messages praising the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Large posters and banners were erected and decorated days in advance to welcome the event commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.

Banners were hung at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center.

At the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Kim Lien commune), flags, flowers, and banners are displayed in vibrant colors.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Diu, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Kim Lien commune, in preparation for the opening of the 2026 Lotus Village Festival, the Kim Lien commune government has intensified propaganda efforts, encouraging people to display the national flag, and arranging banners and billboards along the roads, as well as broadcasting songs about President Ho Chi Minh on the local radio system. In addition, the commune is coordinating with the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to implement activities according to the plan to serve the festival.

The life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh will forever be a shining example for generations of Vietnamese people to learn from and emulate.

The opening ceremony of the 2026 Lotus Village Festival, announcing the Decision recognizing Kim Lien as a National Tourist Area, on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, will take place on the evening of May 18th at the Lotus Village Stadium. This year's Lotus Village Festival will run from May 18th to 30th with many special activities.
