Colorful welcome to summer in San Co Quang An

The mountainous commune of Quang An has 9 ethnic groups living together, of which ethnic minorities account for 74% and the Dao people account for a large number with 55% of the total population. In recent years, the commune has paid much attention to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups.

The 2024 San Co Summer Greeting Program is one of the activities to contribute to maintaining and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities and stimulating local tourism .

Mr. Trieu Dai Nghia, Director of the Communication and Culture Center of Dam Ha district, said: This is the second year the program "Hello Summer in San Co region of Dao people in Quang An commune" has been organized. The program aims to preserve and promote the good traditional values of the Dao ethnic group in Quang An commune, while promoting the land and friendly and hospitable people of Quang An; gradually building and developing tourism products in the commune.
