In the last moments of the old year, the art program at Hung Vuong Square ( Bac Lieu City) was like a symphony to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the new year 2025. The program with its vibrant and colorful melodies created a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the cadres and people of the province with the belief and aspiration that Bac Lieu will "open the door" to welcome the future with good things and new achievements in the new era.

In the chilly weather, a large audience gathered at Hung Vuong Square to enjoy the art program, feeling the transformation of heaven and earth into the new year. With a special meaning and the theme “Sunshine ahead”, the program treated the audience to an artistic “party” with songs bearing proud and bustling melodies praising spring, the homeland of Bac Lieu.
“The Party has helped me grow up every day, the Party has given me so much pride. In the middle of the ocean, storms, standing tall. In the middle of the night, darkness, always steadfast. My Party, I vow to follow you forever…” - the lyrics in the opening performance “My Party” (composed by Quang Vinh) brought the audience the image of a beautiful country in spring under the sunshine of the glorious Party, the great Uncle Ho.

Blending with the spring of the land and sky, Bac Lieu happily welcomes the new year and spring with the achievements of the past year. That is expressed by Trong Nhan through "Silver Sea Song of Gold and Silver" which highlights the bright picture of the marine economy and agriculture - 2 of the 5 pillars of development of the province. The song uses 2 melodies of Ly Keo Chai and Ly Cay Duoi with a cheerful sound combined with the rustic, simple but extremely unique melodies of Vietnamese folk songs.
Entering the era of national growth, Bac Lieu will also rise high and far through songs with the theme “Sunshine ahead”. As the lyrics of the song “The vast new road” (composed by Ho Trong Tan), Bac Lieu entering the new year will join hands to move towards a bright future: “The fragrant scent of thousands of fresh flowers in the beautiful homeland. On the road ahead, there are still thorns that we will pass through. The vast road we will walk to greet the dawn of a new day…”.
