Samsung brings 'Eclipsa Audio' - 3D sound technology to 2025 TV and Soundbar lines

Samsung will integrate Eclipsa Audio technology into its TV and Soundbar product lines in 2025

Accordingly, Eclipsa Audio allows creators to adjust audio data such as sound location and intensity, along with spatial reflections, to create immersive three-dimensional audio experiences.

As the first in the industry to adopt Eclipsa Audio, Samsung is integrating the technology across its entire 2025 TV lineup – from the Crystal UHD series to the premium Neo QLED 8K models, ensuring consumers who want to experience this cutting-edge technology have a wide range of product options to choose from.

Creators will be able to upload Eclipsa Audio-enabled videos to YouTube starting in 2025. Owners of Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup will be able to watch YouTube videos with premium spatial audio when the new technology is released.

To ensure consistent sound quality, Samsung and Google are partnering with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) to create a certification program for devices using Eclipsa Audio, ensuring users experience the highest standard of audio.
