This morning (September 5), the 2025-2026 school year opened online nationwide.

This morning (September 5), along with students across the country, all students of Khanh Hoa province attended the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year. This is the first school year that the opening ceremony is held synchronously nationwide, from preschool to university, including both public and non-public schools, associated with the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training).

Accordingly, the opening ceremony program is divided into 2 parts, including: Program at educational institutions; program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to educational and training institutions nationwide.

The 2025-2026 school year is the first year in which the education sector implements the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the National Assembly on the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2026-2030. This is also the school year to implement the Resolution of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; the Law on Teachers; the Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and learners of educational programs in the national education system; the Resolution of the National Assembly on universalizing preschool education for children from 3 to 5 years old. With the theme of the school year being "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", the education sector sets out key tasks and solutions, including: Perfecting institutions, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of education; innovating school governance; Continue to innovate and improve the quality of preschool, general education and continuing education; develop the team of teachers and managers; improve the efficiency of using the state budget, mobilize investment resources to strengthen facilities and improve the quality of education; innovate political, ideological, ethical education, national defense - security education and physical education, school health; promote digital transformation and administrative reform in the field of education...

This school year, the province has 786 schools from kindergarten to high school, 9 centers with more than 446,200 students; 4 universities, 1 academy, 2 branches and training facilities of universities, 7 colleges, 11 secondary schools with more than 20,000 students.
