According to meteorological experts, all regions across the country have a 60-70% probability of experiencing rain, moderate rain, or heavy rain in the coming days.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on the night of June 5-6 and during the day of June 6, many areas in the Northern, Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions continued to experience widespread showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy to very heavy rainfall. By 3 PM on June 6, rainfall amounts recorded were 127mm in Luc Yen (Yen Bai), 113mm in Gia Phu (Lao Cai), 212mm in Minh Quang (Vinh Phuc), 166mm in Bao Loc (Lam Dong), 108mm in Ha Mon (Kon Tum), and 112mm in Pleiku ( Gia Lai )…

Forecasts indicate that from this evening, June 6th, to the evening of June 8th, the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, with some areas receiving very heavy rain (over 150mm). The heaviest rainfall will occur in the afternoon and evening.

From the night of June 6th to June 7th, the northern and central regions will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain, but only exceeding 60mm. Subsequently, from the night of June 7th to around June 13th, a period of widespread heavy rain may occur in the northern region and Thanh Hoa due to the influence of a low-pressure trough.

Forecasts indicate that widespread thunderstorms and localized heavy rainfall in the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam are likely to continue for several more days. The meteorological agency advises localities to be prepared for the risk of flash floods, landslides, and flooding; especially to be wary of heavy rainfall in a short period causing flooding in urban areas, as happened in Dong Nai province on the afternoon of June 4th.
