At 11:45 p.m. on September 29, a landslide occurred on Provincial Road 183, the border area between Bang Lang and Xuan Giang communes. Rocks and soil from the slope fell down, blocking the road surface. Many places had large cracks, posing a risk of further landslides, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

Immediately after the incident, Bang Lang commune coordinated with Xuan Giang commune to inspect the scene, put up danger warning signs, promptly reported to deploy a remedial plan, and soon reopen the route. Local authorities advised people to absolutely not enter the landslide area to ensure the safety of life and property.
