In her opening remarks at the exhibition, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site, stated: Exactly 70 years ago, on December 19, 1954, after the victory in the resistance war against French colonialism, President Ho Chi Minh returned from the Viet Bac war zone to live and work at the Presidential Palace, continuing to steer the Vietnamese revolutionary ship towards victory.

Throughout his revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in many places, but the Presidential Palace complex had the honor of being the place he was most closely associated with – the last 15 years of his life.

Seventy years have passed, yet his legacy remains present in every relic, document, and artifact, in every corner of the Historical Site. Although the paths within the Historical Site no longer welcome his daily footsteps, compatriots, comrades, and international friends still follow the familiar gravel paths to visit his former residence and workplace.

When visiting Uncle Ho's house and listening to the small stories that contain profound lessons, many visitors have left behind heartfelt and moving comments about Uncle Ho - the most beautiful Vietnamese person.
