SCB replaces Chairman of the Board of Directors

After more than a year of being placed under special control, SCB has promptly and actively coordinated with relevant functional units of the State Bank, ministries, branches and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City to actively implement solutions according to legal regulations to ensure the safety of the banking system and ensure the rights and interests of depositors. Up to now, SCB's operations are gradually stabilizing, gradually handling difficulties and obstacles and focusing on building a restructuring project.

Representatives of the Department of Personnel Organization - State Bank of Vietnam have announced the decisions on personnel of SCB Board of Directors. According to work requirements, the State Bank of Vietnam has decided to nominate Mr. Vu Anh Duc to join SCB Board of Directors. Accordingly, Mr. Vu Anh Duc ceases to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and is transferred back to take up the position at VietinBank .

Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu presented the decision to requisition and appoint Mr. Phan Dinh Dien to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of SCB.

After reviewing and evaluating the capacity of the staff, the State Bank of Vietnam decided to mobilize and appoint Mr. Phan Dinh Dien to stop holding the position of Member of the Board of Members of Agribank to take over the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of SCB to replace Mr. Vu Anh Duc from September 22.

Mr. Phan Dinh Dien has 30 years of experience in the banking sector, having held positions ranging from departmental leadership, branch leadership to Agribank Board of Members. Throughout that process, Mr. Phan Dinh Dien has always had a high sense of responsibility and always completed assigned tasks well, has management and executive capacity, and especially has a lot of experience in debt settlement.
