Where and when will SEA Games 32 take place?

The SEA Games, which takes place every two years, is the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia. The 32nd SEA Games will be held in Cambodia from May 5 to May 17. This is the first time the country of pagodas has hosted the Southeast Asian Games .

The host country has selected five venues, including Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk, Kep and Kampot. Of these, Phnom Penh will host most of the games. The remaining localities will host cycling, sailing, jetskiing, cycling and triathlon.

Vietnam Sports Delegation attends SEA Games 32 with record number.

At this point, the host country has completed preparations for the 32nd SEA Games. It is expected that about 12,000 members of the delegations will attend the Games. Plans for travel and accommodation have been carefully implemented. About 3,500 people will stay in the athletes' village, 2,000 people will be accommodated in 4-star hotels or higher and near the competition area, and 2,000 people participating in the games in 4 localities will stay in fully equipped hotels.

The Vietnamese Sports Delegation has finalized the list of 1,003 members to attend the 32nd SEA Games. This is the largest number of Vietnamese Sports Delegation to attend a SEA Games abroad. Of the 1,003 members, the delegation has more than 700 athletes competing in 44 out of 48 sports and sub-sports at this congress.

The goal of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation is to bring home 90 to 120 gold medals, ranking in the top 3 delegations. The Thai Sports Delegation has the highest goal of 164 gold medals. Meanwhile, the Cambodian Sports Delegation is a big unknown with about 1,300 members. Cambodia has the opportunity to improve its performance when it includes many strong sports in the competition program.

The Vietnamese Sports Delegation will hold a departure ceremony on April 19 at the National Sports Training Center I. The delegation will travel to Cambodia from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by commercial aircraft, expected in late April and early May.
