Fencing opened the gold medal haul for Vietnam on the penultimate day of competition with a 45-31 victory by Vu Thanh An, Nguyen Van Quyet, To Duc Anh and Nguyen Xuan Loi over their Singaporean opponents in the final of the men's sabre team event. This is the third gold medal for Vietnamese fencing at the 32nd SEA Games, after the championships in the women's sabre team event and the men's sabre team event.

Kickboxing:
Le Thi Nhi won the first gold medal for Vietnamese kickboxing at the 32nd SEA Games, after defeating her Philippine opponent in the women's 50kg category.
Hang Nga continues to be the nemesis of the Philippine boxer. This afternoon's women's 48kg low kick final is the third consecutive time Hang Nga has faced Renalyn Dasalla Dacquel in the SEA Games gold medal match. And like the victories at the 30th SEA Games (Philippines 2019), the 31st SEA Games at home last year, the Vietnamese boxer once again won, to make a hattrick of gold medals.
Stick fighting
Defeating Filipino athlete Jude Oliver Marie Rodriguez 3-0 in the final of the women's 50-55kg lightweight single hard stick event, Vu Thi Thanh Binh won the first gold medal for Vietnam in stick fighting.
Taekwondo
Vietnamese boxer Pham Dang Quang defeated Thai boxer Sritimongkol in the final of the 63kg weight class, bringing home the 120th gold medal for Vietnam. Thus, the target of winning 120 gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games has been completed.
Judo
Nguyen Nhac Nhu An (44kg women), Hoang Thi Tinh (48kg women) and Le Anh Tai (90kg men) competed excellently in the final match to bring home 3 gold medals for the Vietnamese sports delegation.
