In the first 9 months of this year, Ms. Ngo Thi Van Hanh, general director of Yeah1, received a salary of 2 billion VND, a significant increase compared to the same period last year.

The recently released third quarter financial report of Yeah1 Group Joint Stock Company (YEG) revealed that the salary paid to Ms. Ngo Thi Van Hanh, general director, was 2 billion VND, an increase of 33% compared to the same period last year.
Thus, on average, Ms. Hanh receives more than 220 million VND per month. This is also the highest income that the YEG boss receives, according to public information in the report.
In the board of directors, Mr. Che Doan Vien, deputy general director, received a salary of more than 1.05 billion VND in 9 months, an increase of 49% compared to the same period. Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Minh Tien, another deputy general director, received a salary of 300 million VND.
Many other leaders at YEG, including Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Phuong Thao and Vice Chairman Nguyen Hoang Giang, did not receive any remuneration during the period.
Regarding business situation, YEG's revenue in the third quarter reached 345 billion VND, more than 3 times higher than the same period last year in the context of the TV show "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" being broadcast and having quite a large influence.
Yeah1 is currently the only unit that owns the copyright to produce this program in Vietnam.
After deducting the cost of goods sold (VND265 billion), YEG recorded a gross profit of VND79 billion, an increase of nearly 3.6 times. Not to mention, financial revenue in this period also increased from more than VND10 billion to VND24.5 billion.
Thanks to that, despite the increase in expenses, YEG still reported a profit after tax of VND 34.3 billion, nearly 11 times higher than the same period last year. This is also the highest profit since 2022.
In the first 9 months of this year, YEG brought in nearly 630 billion VND in revenue, about 2.5 times higher than the same period last year. Profit after tax reached 55.7 billion VND, 4.5 times higher than the same period last year.
At this year's annual general meeting of shareholders, Ms. Ngo Thi Van Hanh - CEO of YEG - said that the company organized many programs and attracted many artists to participate.
Ms. Hanh gave an example of the program "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" which worked with 30 female artists. Along with "Brother Overcoming Thousands of Challenges", YEG has 33 more male artists participating.
The financial report also shows that in the revenue structure, advertising and media consulting brought in the most money for YEG with 560 billion VND, more than 3 times higher than in the first 9 months of last year.
Regarding stock price, on the market, each YEG share is trading at around 9,700 VND, down more than 5% in the past week.
