Thanh Hằng appeared glamorous at the announcement event for Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. She wore a yellow design by Le Thanh Hoa, which accentuated her signature long legs. As previously announced, the 8X supermodel will be the host of this reality show.

Thanh Hằng said she accepted the invitation to participate in the program after repeatedly refusing it because she felt the investment and dedication the organizers had for the future generation of models. Although only 3 episodes have been filmed so far, the 8X model has already noticed a different spirit in this year's competition.

What did Thanh Hằng say upon her return to reality shows?

When asked about the factors that contribute to training a professional model, Thanh Hang gave a specific breakdown: 40% comes from innate talent and potential, 30% from attitude, and the remaining 30% from confidence. According to her, many contestants possess good looks and skills, but lack professional mindset and the ability to adapt to real-world pressure.

Thanh Hằng believes that a professional mindset is the core element that helps a model go further. The show's host believes that models are not simply about walking in and out of the catwalk. Instead, they must be able to systematize their work, understand what they represent, and how to shine not only through their outfits but also through their own unique qualities.

Thanh Hằng said that during filming, she always took the time to remind the contestants about even the smallest things in life, especially how to behave politely and respectfully towards elders. According to her, a person's success doesn't just come from their appearance or talent, but is often determined by how they treat others. Having received negative comments for being strict with contestants, Thanh Hằng affirmed that it was something she had to do because "it stems from the core principle and will help them go further in their careers and lives."

Thanh Hằng's return to Vietnam's Next Top Model after 9 years has sparked much curiosity. The supermodel said she couldn't avoid moments of pressure when having to eliminate contestants.

Regarding the dramatic elements that often cause controversy in reality TV shows, Thanh Hằng doesn't discourage contestants from responding or expressing their emotions, but their attitude and manner of expression need to be adjusted. She doesn't aim to train models who "nod in agreement and obey without question," but rather wants contestants to think independently and critically in a balanced way.

Speaking about the challenges of the program, the 80s supermodel affirmed that it not only requires professional skills, but also demands that contestants demonstrate their courage, problem-solving thinking, and adaptability in various contexts.

Emotions became even heavier for Thanh Hang during the elimination rounds. As someone who had accompanied and shared every little moment with the younger contestants, saying goodbye was never easy for her. Nevertheless, she maintained fairness in all her decisions and emphasized that "the journey doesn't end when a contestant leaves the show, but can continue if they truly want to make an effort and return."
