After a long wait, Ferrari has officially launched its first all-electric supercar in the brand's history – the Ferrari Luce. The Italian supercar manufacturer says this EV uses an independently developed 800V platform. |

The Ferrari Luce is said to be a four-door liftback sedan in an "all-new" segment, and also boasts the first five-seat configuration ever built by Ferrari. |

The front of the Ferrari Luce is distinguished by its transparent panel headlights integrated directly into the body surface, alongside an active aerodynamic grille that balances cooling capabilities with the "lowest drag coefficient in the brand's history". |

The car measures 5,026 x 1,999 x 1,544 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,961 mm. Ferrari emphasizes the "glass house" design, with the glass extending lower and blending seamlessly into the body, creating a sense of continuity. |

Customers can choose from standard 5-spoke wheels, 23 inches at the front and 24 inches at the rear, alongside the all-new Turbina aerodynamic wheel option. |

The panel-style taillights are inspired by the supercars 360 Modena and 458 Italia. The rear aerodynamic wing is designed as a "floating" wing, meaning it's detached from the car body and wraps around the window to optimize airflow. |

Owners can choose from dozens of different exterior colors. At launch, the car was introduced with special options such as Azzurro La Plata Blue, Giallo Luce Yellow, or Rosso Corsa DS 322. |

The interior of the Ferrari Luce is considered a new step in the brand's design, having been developed by the LoveFrom studio, founded by designer Marc Newson and former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive. |

The multi-functional digital display system developed by Samsung Display, integrated into a minimalist dashboard interface, combines digital displays and mechanical control buttons according to an intuitive design philosophy. |

This EV model still uses the Manettino rotary dial on the steering wheel and the e-Manettino system. Notably, the "paddle shifters" on the right increase traction in increments, while those on the left are used to improve regenerative braking and simulate engine braking. |

Thanks to its all-electric configuration, the vehicle eliminates the central drivetrain, thereby creating more space and allowing for a true five-seat configuration. |

The interior details are finished with premium materials such as genuine leather, anodized recycled aluminum, and Gorilla Glass trim, combined with the Ferrari Audio Signature sound system featuring 21 speakers, 24 channels, and 3,000 W of power. |

The Ferrari Luce uses four independent electric motors, one at each wheel, on an 800V platform, delivering a maximum power output of 1,050 horsepower and a peak torque of 990 Nm. |
![]() |
It comes with a full-time all-electric AWD system, incorporating torque-vectoring and real-time torque control for each wheel. |
![]() |
Despite being an electric car, the Ferrari Luce weighs only around 2,260 kg, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of over 310 km/h. |

The vehicle's battery pack has a capacity of 122 kWh and supports DC fast charging with a power output of up to 350 kW. Notably, this component is designed as a load-bearing structure integrated into the vehicle frame, optimizing both performance and battery installation architecture. |

The company has equipped the car with a proprietary sound system that uses sensors to measure vibrations from the drivetrain components to create realistic "exhaust sounds" and "engine sounds" inside and outside the vehicle, instead of simulating them with speakers like many other high-performance EVs. |

According to some sources, the starting price of this all-electric model is around 550,000 Euros (approximately 640,000 USD ). The Ferrari Luce will be assembled at the e-building complex in Maranello, and deliveries could begin as early as October 2026. |
