The competition, held at Hanoi University, continues to be a vibrant and creative cultural exchange space for students who love the Korean language and literature.

Now in its fourth year, the competition is gradually establishing itself as one of the leading activities promoting Korean literature in Vietnam. More than just an artistic platform, the program also provides an opportunity for students majoring in Korean language and Korean studies to directly access, adapt, and perform famous literary works on stage.
Through this, young people have more opportunities to explore the depth of culture, history, and spiritual life of South Korea in a more accessible and engaging way.
This year, the competition was held on the largest scale ever, bringing together over 200 students from 11 teams representing 11 major universities in Hanoi, including: CMC University, Hanoi University of Industry, Dai Nam University, FPT University, Hanoi University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Nguyen Trai University, Phenikaa University, Thang Long University and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

The highlight of this year's competition lies in the richness of the selection of performances. From famous folk tales like *The Rabbit's Liver* (Byeoljubujeon), * The Tale of Ondal and Princess Pyeong Gang* , to classic literary works like *The Tale of Hong Gil Dong*, and contemporary works such as *Dongbaek Flower* by Kim Yoo Jung, *Sam-ryong the Mute* by Na Do Hyang, *The Guest and My Mother* by Joo Yo Seop, * The Hen Who Escaped the Coop* by Hwang Sun Mi, or *Welcome to Hyunam-dong Bookstore * by Hwang Bo Reum… all were creatively reinterpreted by the competing teams in the form of Vietnamese plays. These performances not only recreated the content of the works but also offered a fresh, more relatable perspective for young Vietnamese audiences.
At the end of the competition, the first prize went to the skit " The Hen That Escaped the Coop" from Hanoi University. Two second prizes were awarded to the skits "The Story of the Fool Ondal and Princess Pyeong Gang" from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and "Welcome to Hyunam-dong Bookstore" from Thang Long University.

Meanwhile, the two third prizes went to Hoa dongbaek from the University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Sam-ryong the Mute from Phenikaa University.
Held since 2022, the Korean Literature Stage Performance Competition not only helps students engage with literature through books but also transforms works into vibrant artistic experiences on stage.
Through this activity, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam hopes to further inspire a love for the Korean language, promote cultural exchange between the younger generations of the two countries, and contribute to deepening the cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
