Developing e-commerce Through the development of information pages introducing products, businesses, cooperatives, and e-commerce platforms in Son La province; bringing agricultural products from the province to domestic and international e-commerce platforms; creating videos , images, and articles introducing Son La's agricultural products; supporting the construction and transfer of e-commerce websites and customer management software to businesses and cooperatives; organizing training and implementing support programs for businesses, cooperatives, and farmers to bring their products to e-commerce platforms (such as Postmart, Sendo, Voso, Tiktok shop, etc.); and providing guidance on livestreaming skills and promoting product images on social networks.
From the beginning of 2026, the Son La Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated the organization of training conferences on e-commerce development. For example, the Department collaborated with the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade , to organize a training conference on state management of e-commerce in 2026 for officials and civil servants of the Market Management Sub-department and the Provincial Police. The program was organized in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, reaching 75 communes and wards in the province. Through the training, participants were briefed on the overview of e-commerce; current trends in e-commerce development; guidance on procedures for notifying the Ministry of Industry and Trade about e-commerce websites selling goods; and an introduction to the key contents of the E-commerce Law and the draft decree guiding its implementation. In addition, participants were informed about some violations and regulations on handling administrative violations in the field of e-commerce according to current regulations. In addition, the Department is focusing on organizing training conferences to improve skills and apply e-commerce. On May 13th, in Phieng Khoai and Yen Chau communes, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade), organized a training conference to improve skills and apply e-commerce in 2026. The conference was attended by over 200 participants, including representatives from businesses, cooperatives, production and trading establishments, small traders, youth union members, women's association members, and farmers' association members in the area. Participants were introduced to practical content such as: e-commerce trends in 2026, legal regulations on e-commerce, building brands on digital platforms, and livestreaming sales skills on e-commerce platforms. Participants were also guided in practicing livestreaming sales, contributing to improving online business skills and effectively promoting local agricultural products. The conferences have contributed to raising awareness, promoting digital transformation, and expanding product consumption opportunities for local people.
