Learning from previous years' experiences, during the period leading up to Tet in 2025, people are encouraged to proactively bring their vehicles to the Bac Lieu Vehicle Inspection Branch for inspection, thus reducing prolonged traffic congestion.
On January 20th, Mr. Ho Van Tha, Head of the Bac Lieu Vehicle Inspection Branch (under the No. 17 Vehicle Inspection Sub-department), stated that currently, the branch receives approximately 50-60 vehicles per day for road motor vehicle inspection.

Vehicle inspectors at the Bac Lieu Vehicle Inspection Branch are carrying out the vehicle inspection procedure.
The number of vehicles has increased since the beginning of October 2024, and it is predicted that in the coming days the number of vehicles coming for inspection will increase slightly by about 10-15%, with the number of vehicle inspections per day increasing to 60-70.
Currently, this vehicle inspection branch only has four inspectors who work in shifts from morning until 5:30 PM every day. During peak periods, the unit works on Saturdays and Sundays to try and process all the paperwork.
"We are working with determination, as quickly as possible, and especially to avoid prolonged congestion and traffic jams at the unit, helping people and businesses feel secure in traveling and transporting goods during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025," Mr. Tha added.

During the period leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the number of vehicles coming for inspection is high, and inspectors have to work continuously, even on Saturdays and Sundays, to process all the paperwork.
According to Mr. Tha, learning from the prolonged traffic congestion of previous years, people and businesses have become more aware and are afraid of receiving traffic fines, so they proactively take their vehicles for inspection in advance, rather than waiting until the inspection deadline. Therefore, traffic congestion has been reduced.
In addition, the unit proactively arranged and requested vehicle owners, when it was not their turn for vehicle inspection, to park their vehicles in suitable locations and avoid parking in long lines while waiting.
Mr. Tran Minh Luan (residing in Vinh Loi district, Bac Lieu province) shared that his 7-seater car's inspection certificate expires on February 5, 2025, but because he has free time, he proactively had the car inspected ahead of schedule.
"I registered my vehicle in advance to avoid prolonged traffic jams and long waits like in previous years. Furthermore, I have the time to do it now, because if I wait until the deadline and am too busy with work, it will be inconvenient for me," Mr. Luan added.
