The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will not be holding receptions or accepting flowers and gifts to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023).

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not accept flowers or gifts on Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will not be receiving congratulatory delegations or accepting congratulatory flowers at its headquarters on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20th. According to the Department, this is to implement the Party and State's directives and resolutions on practicing thrift and combating waste.

For many years, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has issued a document stating that it does not accept flowers, gifts, or guests, but instead wishes to receive e-cards to celebrate November 20th (Teachers' Day). In previous years, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training published the email address for receiving e-cards, but this year it has not.

The leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also believe that this will be the most meaningful gift for the staff, specialists, and employees of the Department of Education and Training, in the spirit of friendship and economy.
