On the morning of October 27, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Nam province said that up to now, 4,412 households with 18,306 people in 10 localities including Duy Xuyen, Phuoc Son, Tay Giang, Dai Loc, Hiep Duc, Tam Ky, Tien Phuoc, Hoi An, Nam Tra My, Phu Ninh have been evacuated to ensure safety during the storm.

According to the Quang Nam Provincial Border Guard Command, this unit is coordinating with localities to evacuate 210 households with 836 people in Tr'hy, Gary, and Ch'Om communes in Tay Giang district, where there is a risk of landslides, to a safe place according to the local plan.

On the same day, the Department of Transport of Quang Nam province said that the impact of the storm caused trees to fall on National Highway 14H through Nam Phuoc town (Duy Xuyen district).

Some provincial roads such as DT603B and DT615 are flooded, stagnant about 30cm deep, making traffic difficult.

On provincial road DT609 (Ma Cooih commune, Dong Giang district), there was a landslide, with rocks and soil spilling over half of the road surface at some locations from Km67 - Km69.

Currently, the authorities are diverting traffic to ensure the remaining half of the lane.

8:00: The storm has not yet entered, but trees have fallen down.

According to the reporter's records, at 7:50 this morning in Da Nang , before storm Trami made landfall, the streets of Da Nang were quite deserted with people and vehicles.

Previously, the continuous gusts of wind had caused trees on many roads to fall, street signs, fences... to fall and move.

The coastal areas of Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts are experiencing strong winds. On the coastal road of Vo Nguyen Giap, the winds were so strong that the street name signs were knocked down.

Large trees also fell in the downtown area. The power supply in the downtown area has been cut off to ensure safety during the storm.

Previously, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a telegram requesting people to limit leaving their homes from 10:00 a.m. on October 27 to ensure safety.

6:00 am: Quang Nam and Da Nang begin to have strong winds

Early morning of October 27, due to the influence of storm Trami, in Quang Nam and Da Nang there was heavy rain and strong gusts of wind.

At Cu Lao Cham Island, at 5:10 am, there was a strong wind of level 8 (17.3 m/s), the sea was very rough. Large waves several meters high continuously hit the shore.

At 5am this morning, Cu Lao Cham island area had strong winds of level 8.

In Cu Lao Cham fishing port area, boats are still tossed about by big waves even though they are firmly anchored.

By 6am, inland localities in Da Nang and Quang Nam also had heavy rain with strong winds and heavy rain.

According to the Quang Nam Province Hydrometeorological Station, storm Trami is currently about 110km east-northeast from the mainland, with strong winds of level 9 and 10, gusting to level 12.

In the next 3 hours, the storm will move in the West Southwest direction, at a speed of about 15km/h.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this morning, storm Trami is forecast to make landfall in the Central Central provinces (Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai ).

The mainland area of ​​Quang Nam province at 6am this morning had strong gusts of wind and heavy rain.

At 10:00 a.m. this morning, the storm center was on the mainland along the coast of the Central Central provinces.

The storm then changed direction to move southeast, towards the sea area of ​​Quang Nam - Quang Ngai provinces and gradually weakened into a tropical depression.

By 4am tomorrow morning (October 28), the tropical depression will be in the Central Central Coast. After that, the tropical depression will continue to move eastward, towards the Hoang Sa archipelago and weaken into a low pressure area.
