On September 29, the Lam Dong Department of Health proposed halting investment in the construction of three new health stations (Dak Sin, Dak Ru, and Dak Som commune health stations) and requested a reduction of over 11.5 billion VND in central government budget funds.

According to the Lam Dong Department of Health, the construction of the three health stations is facing obstacles due to the bauxite exploration plan as stipulated in Decision 866/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2023, of the Prime Minister, making implementation impossible.

The unit had previously proposed switching to a repair and renovation model, but based on the administrative unit reorganization plan and changes in the model of primary healthcare, continued investment would create many problems. Therefore, the Department of Health recommends halting the construction of these three new health stations.
