Lam Dong Department of Health proposes to stop building 3 new medical stations

On September 29, Lam Dong Department of Health proposed to stop investing in the construction of 3 new medical stations (Dak Sin, Dak Ru and Dak Som Commune Health Stations) and requested to adjust the reduction of more than 11.5 billion VND of central budget capital.

According to Lam Dong Department of Health, the construction of 3 medical stations encountered difficulties due to the bauxite exploration planning according to Decision 866/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2023 of the Prime Minister, so it could not be implemented.

The unit had proposed to switch to the form of repair and renovation, but based on the orientation of administrative unit arrangement and change of grassroots health care model, continued investment would arise many shortcomings. Therefore, the Department of Health recommended to stop building these 3 new health stations.
