| Leaders of the Department of Health witnessed the signing ceremony between the participating units. |
In the first six months of the year, under the close guidance of the Ministry of Health , the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, along with the close coordination of departments, agencies, mass organizations, and socio-political organizations, the provincial health sector achieved many important results. Programs on population health, maternal and child health care, malnutrition prevention, food safety and hygiene, and disease prevention were implemented decisively and effectively.
In particular, amidst the transition to a two-tiered local government model, the medical units directly involved in examining and treating patients remain unchanged; health stations continue to provide medical examination and treatment services, implement health and population programs, and ensure uninterrupted healthcare activities.
At the conference, delegates discussed and analyzed the difficulties and solutions regarding the management and operation of health stations after mergers, disease prevention and control, and the implementation of electronic medical records.
To ensure the effective implementation of tasks in the last six months of the year, the health sector has identified key tasks such as: Continuing to consolidate and improve the health organization system and strengthen the health workforce; reorganizing health stations to ensure that each health station has at least two doctors; and continuing to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services for the people, especially in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
On this occasion, the Department of Health organized a ceremony to sign and establish comprehensive cooperation agreements between healthcare units.
