To promote and stimulate tourism in 2024, the province has, from an early stage, selected a series of events and activities to organize that are focused, targeted, innovative, and on a larger scale.

Tuyen Quang also organized a separate media conference about the opening event of the 3rd Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival and Tourism Year 2024 in Da Nang city during the April 30th - May 1st holiday. At this time, Tuyen Quang tourism is vibrant with many events, ready to welcome tourists to experience it.
The opening ceremony of the 3rd Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival and Tourism Year 2024, held on April 27th, the start of the holiday, was a great success, leaving a positive impression on locals and tourists. At Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, thousands of people and tourists came to experience the vibrant atmosphere and dazzling colors and lights of the hot air balloons, and to shop at the booths showcasing tourism products and traditional crafts of the province. This is an important event marking the beginning of a series of cultural, tourism, and sports events taking place in 2024.

On this occasion, many localities in the province also organized a series of events to celebrate the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year. The activities were all linked to promoting the potential, strengths, and unique tourism products of the province, aiming to build the Tuyen Quang tourism brand as "A safe, friendly, pristine, and clean destination."
Na Hang district organized 11 vibrant tourism activities that attracted a large number of tourists to participate and experience, such as: Hong Thai Tea Festival, Na Hang District Highland Ethnic Food Festival, Art program celebrating the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, Exhibition introducing Na Hang district's tourism products in 2024; Fishing competition...
Lam Binh District organized activities such as: the Lam Binh District Volleyball Tournament; the announcement of the Pà Thẻn ethnic group's Fire Dance ritual tourism product in Thuong Minh village, Hong Quang commune; traditional Then singing; the opening of an eco-historical and exploration tourism route at the H52 historical site - Khuoi Nhi waterfall - Khuoi Pin cave; and the Lam Binh Brocade and Culinary Festival. In addition, homestay establishments in the district have also increased the number of cultural, artistic, and culinary activities for tourists to interact with and experience during their visit.

In conjunction with the Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2024, Flamingo Group launched the Tan Trao Destination Centre in Tan Trao commune (Son Duong district). The Provincial Tourism Management Board organized the launch of a unique tourism product based on My Lam natural mineral water, themed "My Lam Hot Springs - A Miraculous Source," at the My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area. The Provincial Investment Promotion Center also organized the 2024 Conference on Investment, Trade, Tourism, and Traditional Craft Villages in the Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Regions of Tuyen Quang Province.

Domestic tourism is thriving.
This year, with a 5-day holiday from April 30th to May 1st, families have been preparing for a relaxing break to de-stress, starting their holiday journeys on April 27th. Particularly due to the high airfare prices, the trend of traveling by car to nearby destinations has increased. Consequently, the number of tourists visiting tourist spots in Tuyen Quang province has also increased significantly this year.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang province, thanks to the thorough preparation by the Provincial People's Committee and localities beforehand, coupled with favorable weather conditions, the number of visitors to Tuyen Quang has increased sharply compared to last year, with hotel, homestay, and guesthouse bookings fully booked since April 27th.
At most tourist destinations in the area, such as the Tan Trao National Special Historical Site, Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Na Hang - Lam Binh scenic area, and community tourism destinations in Na Hang and Lam Binh districts, the number of visitors has increased significantly compared to last year. In particular, the Bach Thao Ngan Water Park in Group 1, Tan Ha Ward, Tuyen Quang City, which recently opened this year, has also contributed to attracting a large number of tourists from within the province to participate in the experience during the hot weather.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of ShangHai Hotel (Tuyen Quang City), said that the hotel has 26 guest rooms, and all rooms are fully booked during this period. We are committed to not increasing service prices compared to normal days.
Mr. Tran Van The, an employee of Lam Vinh Tourist Boat Company in Na Hang town, shared: "Like in previous years, many tourist groups have already booked tours for Lam Vinh Tourist Boat Company since the beginning of April. The boat operators are strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards and are committed to not increasing prices during the April 30th and May 1st holidays. At this time, the tourist boats are busier than ever, ready to welcome tourists to experience our services."

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: "This year, during the holiday, our family chose Na Hang as our destination to experience and explore. Because we have young children and elderly people, we chose to travel during this time to avoid the crowds. Upon arriving here, we were amazed by the majestic and pristine scenery, and the people of Na Hang are very hospitable. The tourist boat service was especially enthusiastic and reasonably priced. My family will definitely recommend Na Hang to many more people."
It can be said that Tuyen Quang welcomed a large number of tourists this holiday season, a significant increase compared to last year. This is a positive sign for the tourism industry, with the goal of attracting 2,750,000 tourists in 2024 and achieving a total revenue of 3,600 billion VND from tourism services.
