On the evening of July 28th, the Vietnam Dance Association branch in Thanh Hoa organized the first Folk Dance Art Festival - 2024. Attending the festival were People's Artist Pham Anh Phuong, President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, along with representatives from several provincial departments and agencies.

The festival included the dance troupe of the Lam Son Opera and Dance Theatre; 5 folk dance clubs from Thanh Hoa City; the dance troupe of the Thanh Hoa City Children's Cultural Center; and the Border Folk Dance Club (Muong Lat district), each with 10-15 artists and performers participating; the Border Folk Dance Club alone had 25 artists and performers participating.
People's Artist, musician, and choreographer Hoang Hai delivered a speech at the festival.
People's Artist Pham Anh Phuong, President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, and other delegates presented commemorative flags to the participating teams at the festival.
Speaking at the festival, People's Artist, musician, and choreographer Hoang Hai said: With the desire to create a "playground" for those who love folk songs and dances in the province; and at the same time, to bring the unique value of folk dance to the stage as a work of art worthy of its stature, the Vietnam Dance Association branch in Thanh Hoa has conducted a survey of the folk dance movement in the province. Simultaneously, it has organized the linking of folk dance clubs and invested in staging folk dance performances into works of art.
The first Folk Dance Art Festival - 2024 was organized to celebrate the anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnamese dance art. At the same time, it aimed to contribute to improving cultural life at the grassroots level in the process of renovation; preserving and developing local folk dance art, serving political objectives and serving the people.

The festival presented viewers with many unique folk dance performances, meticulously staged, diverse in content and form, and of high artistic quality, showcasing the cultural beauty and image of the people of Thanh Hoa province in particular and the homeland and country in general. Among them, the most outstanding works included: Cloud Salad, Lantern Festival - Dawn on the Ma River - Fairy Dance, Love for the Homeland, Fragrance and Beauty of Vietnam, Lotus Flowers Offered to Uncle Ho - Hmong Spring...
Representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented gifts to the Vietnam Dance Association branch in Thanh Hoa.
Representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented gifts to the teams participating in the festival.
People's Artist Pham Anh Phuong, President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, and delegates presented Certificates of Merit to the participating teams at the festival.
