According to a reporter's survey, the gift market for October 20 this year has many products with diverse designs, styles, and prices suitable for each customer segment.

At many flower shops or shops along the streets in Vinh Yen city such as Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Viet Xuan, Le Xoay or at GO! Vinh Phuc Supermarket , Co.opMart... many retailers and brands have launched a series of attractive gift products to serve the shopping needs of consumers.

Fresh flowers are always the first choice and one of the indispensable gifts on October 20th. According to records, fresh flower shops in the city have been quite busy in recent days with a variety of product designs from bouquets to baskets, from domestic flowers to imported flowers with many different designs and prices, suitable for customers' requirements.

Many types of fresh flowers with diverse designs and styles have been imported by shops to serve customers on the occasion of October 20.

Ms. Hau, the owner of a flower shop on Ton Duc Thang Street, said: “On the occasion of October 20 this year, the price of fresh flowers increased by 10-20% compared to normal days. The shop has imported many different types of flowers from domestic to imported flowers such as Da Lat roses, sunflowers, lilies, peonies, orchids, Ecuadorian roses... to serve the needs of customers.

Up to now, the number of customers purchasing at the store and orders placed before and on October 20 have increased by about 20% compared to normal days. It is expected that in the coming days, the number of customers will increase even more. We will try to meet the maximum demand of customers for buying flowers as gifts."

According to Ms. Hau, fresh flower products are packaged into bouquets, baskets, flower boxes... and have many different prices. The price of flower bouquets ranges from 250,000 - 700,000 VND/bouquet depending on the size and type of flower; flower baskets range from 400,000 VND - more than 1 million VND/basket depending on the type of flower...

The price of imported flower bouquets, boxes, baskets, and flower baskets will be higher, up to several million VND/product. The price of Da Lat roses is currently around 80,000-90,000 VND/10 flowers; baby flowers are from 65,000-85,000 VND/bunch... The price of these flowers will increase even more in the coming days.

In addition to fresh flower products, customers can also choose wax flowers and silk flowers at softer prices, ranging from 30,000 VND to over 1 million VND/product depending on type and size.

In addition to fresh flowers, this year customers also really like products such as fresh fruit sets and health protection gift sets that are neatly designed, eye-catching and suitable for consumers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, owner of Thanh Binh Fruit store, Lien Bao ward said: “The demand for gifts on the occasion of October 20 is increasing. Customers also have higher requirements for product design, quality and appearance. Therefore, the store always updates new designs of fruit sets and gifts according to customers' requests.

Eye-catching fruit sets and health protection gift sets are also among the priority choices of customers.

The number of customers during this time is also quite stable because of the trend of giving gifts early on the occasion of October 20. The number of customers ordering directly or ordering via the store's hotline increases day by day.

Since the beginning of the month, the store has received an average of 4-5 gift basket orders per day. In the past week, this number has increased to 10-15 orders per day and around the holidays, it can reach 30-40 orders per day.

The price of gift sets ranges from 300,000 VND to 2 million VND depending on the customer's needs. Specifically, the Korean ginseng and bird's nest set costs from 400,000 to 600,000 VND/set; the fruit basket costs from 300,000 to 2 million VND/set depending on the quantity, design and origin of the fruits.

Because the products are related to health, the store always ensures the origin, source as well as food hygiene and safety for customers when using them."

The number of customers also increased dramatically in the gift category for women such as shampoo, shower gel, perfume, jewelry, beauty products, cosmetics, clothes... Many stores recorded purchasing power doubled compared to normal days when launching a series of programs and promotions for women on this occasion.

Many stores on the streets of Vinh Yen city launch attractive promotions.

At GO! Vinh Phuc Supermarkets and Co.opMart, many promotions and deep discounts are also being launched to stimulate shopping.
