On the evening of May 26, at Hai Phong City Theater, the 2025 Hoa Phuong Dance Star Competition - Life Up Cup officially took place, attracting a large number of athletes, audiences and dance lovers. The event is a highlight in the series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 15, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City in coordination with Life Up Academy Skills Training Company. The aim is to promote the movement of practicing sports dance in Hai Phong City, meet the needs of people to enjoy culture and sports, enhance understanding, exchange and solidarity between localities across the country.
The Royal Poinciana Dance Star Tournament - Life Up Cup 2025 gathered 365 athletes from about 50 dance clubs in and outside Hai Phong city. With a professional organization scale, modern and quality performance space, the event attracted thousands of spectators to watch and cheer.
The tournament consists of 8 main competitions: Dance Kids, Hip Hop, Modern Dance and Model Kids. In particular, the appearance of young athletes with skillful skills and confidence on stage really made the audience "explode" with endless applause.
Along with the competitions, the program also organizes many exchange activities, art performances and sub-competitions for the audience. This is an opportunity for groups and individuals with a passion for dancing to exchange, learn, share experiences and shine in front of the public.
The tournament carries the message of “sports for the community”, aiming at comprehensive physical and mental development, especially for the young generation. Thereby, contributing to improving the cultural, artistic and sports life of the people, especially the youth, officials, civil servants and workers nationwide.
