There's a reason for this coincidence. According to sources in the football industry, the three biggest global sports brands – Nike, Adidas, and Puma – are all focusing on pink football boots to capitalize on the marketing boom leading up to this World Cup.

Of the 26 players on the final roster who participated in training on June 3rd, 25 wore shoes with pink accents, except for midfielder Hwang In-beom (Feyenoord), who wore white football boots. Hwang In-beom wore Mizuno boots.

Lee Kang-in had "hinted" at wearing pink soccer boots before that day's practice. On June 2nd, he posted a photo of himself holding a pair of pink soccer boots on his Instagram account, which has 1.7 million followers.

"I think it was important to visit Son Heung-min and offer a sincere apology. Through our long conversation, I understood the burden he carries as the national team captain and also reflected on myself," Lee wrote on his personal page. Son Heung-min also appealed to fans to forgive Lee, bringing an end to the heated dispute between the two famous players.
