Division 31 and Military School of the 34th Corps deployed to support people in flooded areas.

(GLO)- In the face of prolonged heavy rain causing deep flooding in the eastern localities of Gia Lai, on the morning of November 19, Division 31 and Military School of Corps 34 sent forces and mobile vehicles to key locations to support people in coping with floods.

Immediately after arriving at the scene, officers and soldiers Division 31 and Military School of Corps 34 coordinated with local authorities to transport relief food, support property clearance, and evacuate people from flooded areas in some localities in the East of Gia Lai.

In Quy Nhon Dong ward, Division 31 deployed 50 officers and soldiers with 2 specialized canoes and life jackets to perform rescue missions, evacuating people from areas where high water levels flooded houses and roads. At the same time, the unit maintained a state of readiness to mobilize 200 officers and soldiers to key areas when reinforcement orders were issued.

The 34th Corps Military School sent 59 officers and soldiers along with specialized mobile vehicles to approach Tuy Phuoc commune to coordinate with local authorities to deploy rescue plans and evacuate people from the danger zone.

According to representatives of Division 31 and Military School of Corps 34, officers and soldiers of the two units will continue to stay close to the area, maintaining their duties until the flood situation stabilizes, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
