- Persistent food cravings can lead to eating disorders, including binge eating, which can be dangerous to health.

- Eating when hungry ensures the body only takes in a sufficient amount of food, meeting nutritional needs without causing weight gain or the risk of eating-related diseases. However, eating when craving food easily leads to weight gain, obesity, and an increased risk of diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
