Reporting on the flood prevention and recovery situation in the past two days, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan said that the province mobilized over 10,850 people to participate in flood prevention and recovery. At the same time, all means were mobilized to ensure smooth traffic on all routes; repair communication systems, power grids, and rescue affected households. In Yen Bai city alone, 7,934 houses were flooded and people had to be evacuated to ensure safety. On the morning of September 10, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force, Bac Ninh Provincial Police in coordination with local people quickly extinguished the fire, successfully rescuing 7 people at the residential and business complex on Nguyen Quyen Street, Bac Ninh City. Accordingly, at 5:25 a.m. the same day, Bac Ninh Provincial Police received a fire report at the residential and business complex of Mr. NVT's household (No. 129 - 131 Nguyen Quyen Street, Dai Phuc Ward, Bac Ninh City). At 5:31 a.m., professional fire fighting forces arrived at the scene and discovered 4 people trapped in the fire on the 3rd floor. Before that, local people had helped to bring 3 people out from the 3rd floor using ropes, curtains, and tarpaulins to safely support them. Immediately afterwards, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly deployed 2 ladder trucks to approach the 3rd floor from the front and back of the house, promptly rescuing 4 trapped people to safety.
