Many meaningful tasks
On July 1st, as the new administrative model officially came into operation, the Lac Son Commune Public Administrative Service Center was already filled with the volunteer youth of Lac Son Commune in their green uniforms. Leading the way in digital transformation, the Lac Son Commune Youth Union established a digital technology team with 20 members. This team has been on duty, guiding citizens in accessing online public services at the commune's administrative center and submitting online applications. During this peak period alone, the Lac Son Commune Youth Union members have been on duty nearly 50 times, assisting over 400 citizens in conducting transactions and completing administrative procedures. Pioneering in digital transformation, the Lac Son Commune Youth Union members are also the core force of the "Community Digital Technology Teams" in the hamlets and residential areas throughout the commune.

Youth Union members of Lac Son commune contributed money and labor to paint the house for Bui Thu Ha's family in Coi hamlet.
In particular, as part of the "Youth Project to Celebrate the Success of the Lac Son Commune Party Congress - Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Vietnam People's Police," the Lac Son Commune Youth Union and the Lac Son Commune Police Youth Union organized a very meaningful activity: "dressing up" the small house of a "foster child of the Youth Union." Bui Thu Ha, from Coi hamlet, Lac Son commune (formerly Vu Binh commune), is a "foster child of the Youth Union." The commune's Youth Union has been supporting Ha since 2022, and she has now graduated from junior high school and passed the high school entrance exam. Ha's family is one of the poorest and most disadvantaged households in the hamlet, living in an old, dilapidated stilt house...
But with determination and the support of the local government, the family managed to replace their temporary house with a sturdy, single-story house. However, due to financial difficulties, the house was only built and plastered, not yet painted. To provide timely assistance, the Lac Son Commune Youth Union and the Lac Son Commune Police Youth Union provided paint and mobilized young volunteers to paint the entire house for the family.
Excited to stand in front of her newly renovated house, Bui Thu Ha shared: "My family and I are deeply moved by the care and attention we received from the Youth Union members. This gift will be a motivation and a reminder for me to always strive to study hard and become a useful member of society, so as not to disappoint the kindness of the Youth Union members."
For the sake of community life
Ahead of the new school year, the Lac Son Commune Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Unions of local agencies and the Lac Son Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, organized a cleanup of the entire school grounds, classrooms, and schoolyard. Activities such as sweeping the schoolyard, cleaning desks and chairs, weeding, trimming trees, and decorating classrooms helped create a neat and clean environment, ready to welcome students back. This cleanup not only beautified the school but also demonstrated the solidarity and responsibility of the youth union members towards the school and its students.
Youth Union members of Lac Son commune participated in cleaning up the area around the commune's central stadium.
Continuing to promote the pioneering spirit of youth in building new rural areas and creating green, clean, and beautiful landscapes, the Youth Union of Lac Son commune has actively organized and implemented "Green Sunday," mobilizing union members to participate in cleaning up the environment along inter-hamlet roads in residential areas. They also cleaned up garbage, planted flowers and trees to create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape along inter-commune roads. This is a practical activity aimed at raising awareness and responsibility among union officials, members, and young people in maintaining hygiene, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change; creating a vibrant emulation movement in participating in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Through this, they demonstrate the pioneering spirit, volunteerism, and contribution of young people to the construction and protection of their homeland and country.
Comrade Bui Thi Mai - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Secretary of the Youth Union of the commune, said: The youth volunteer activities for community life organized by the Youth Union of the commune have created a widespread environment for young people to develop their youthful energy and contribute to the community. Through these activities, the spirit of community cohesion has been fostered, responsibility and love for the homeland and country have been awakened in the local youth, and opportunities have been created for Youth Union members to train and mature, striving to soon join the ranks of the Party.
