People of Banh Phan village, Ta Phin commune donated garden land to expand internal traffic roads.
In the highland commune of Ta Phin, Sin Ho district, new concrete roads are like silk ribbons across each slope and each small path leading to residential areas. The newly opened road not only brings hope for a better life, but also makes it easier for people to get to the market and children to go to school... Recalling the day the whole village participated in road construction, the bustling sound of hoes and shovels, the sound of hammers mixed with the cheerful laughter of the people created a warm and confident new rural picture in Ta Phin. The spacious and clean village roads and alleys are gradually becoming the pride of the people here. The biggest difficulty of Ta Phin commune lies not only in the lack of funds, but also in the narrowness of every inch of land. The land here has been preserved by the people for generations, houses, gardens... closely follow each small path leading to households. When the government proposed that people donate land to widen the road, people initially hesitated, because building a new road meant cutting off part of their agricultural land, or removing a corner of their house that had provided shade and shelter for the whole family...
Branch roads in residential areas in Tam Choong village have been widened to help people travel more easily.
Mr. Tan Chan Hin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ta Phin Commune, shared: “We identify rural transportation as an important criterion to complete the criteria for building new rural areas. At the same time, this is also a bottleneck that needs to be resolved so that people can conveniently develop the economy , serving the long-term interests of the people.... That is the biggest driving force to turn the small, muddy trails in the commune into spacious roads.”
From that awareness, the Ta Phin commune government has stepped up propaganda work, mobilizing people to participate in donating land, contributing labor and money to expand traffic routes. The meetings are not only a place to convey policies but also an opportunity to listen to people's opinions and aspirations, helping everyone understand the meaning and practical benefits of opening traffic routes. After many village meetings, people gradually understood the benefits of expanding internal traffic routes, and people voluntarily agreed to remove fences, move crops... to make room for the main road of the village. From the beginning of 2025 to now, people in Ta Phin commune have contributed more than 300 million VND, over 250 working days to expand more than 1,800m of internal roads... Currently, the roads of Tam Choong village have been completed, becoming a bright spot for other villages to follow, with Banh Phan village, the main roads have also been basically completed, making it easier for 4-seat cars to travel than before.
Mr. Tan A Nai, a resident of Banh Phan village, happily shared: "My family had to dismantle the kitchen corner and the buffalo pen. At first, I felt sorry, but thinking about the more convenient road, I think it was worth it. My neighbors and I voluntarily contributed labor and money to do it."
The Ta Phin commune government has stood side by side with the people throughout the process of contributing land and labor to build roads, and has regularly coordinated with relevant agencies to inspect, remove difficulties and mobilize additional funding for pouring concrete, making drainage ditches, and renovating the landscape... The completed and spacious roads have opened up many new directions of development for the people of Ta Phin such as: tourism , facilitating the development of farms, exploiting the strengths of the region... This is a testament to the spirit of solidarity and consensus of the whole community working together to make Ta Phin more and more prosperous.
