Multiple-vehicle accident on the highway section passing through Ha Tinh.

This morning, a multi-vehicle accident involving three vehicles occurred on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section of the highway (in Ha Tinh province).

According to initial information, at approximately 5:30 AM on December 5th, at Km 530+200 on the North-South expressway section from Ham Nghi to Vung Ang (in Cam Xuyen commune, Ha Tinh province), a multi-vehicle accident occurred in the North-South direction involving three vehicles: two trucks with license plates 29H-40.xxx and 89H-01.xxx, and one car with an unknown license plate.

The chain collision did not result in any injuries, but three vehicles were damaged. In addition, eight guardrails on the highway were affected.

The scene of the accident

Upon receiving the report, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 - Traffic Police Department, in coordination with the highway management unit, arrived at the scene to handle the accident and manage traffic flow.

One of the three vehicles was severely damaged.

At the time of the accident, there was light rain at the scene, the road surface was normal, and the traffic safety system on that section of the highway was fully in place.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
