A university official accused of molesting a female student has been temporarily suspended from work.

On May 27, the leader of Vinh University ( Nghe An ) said that the school has temporarily suspended an officer of the One-Stop Department to make a report in response to information reflecting inappropriate behavior and words towards a female student at the school.

According to a report sent by Vinh University to the Ministry ofEducation and Training and relevant authorities, on the evening of May 26, information was spread on some social networking sites about a student of class 65 of Vinh University going to the school's One-Stop Department to withdraw his transcript due to family matters. According to the posted information, the One-Stop Department staff had inappropriate behavior and words towards the student.

On the morning of May 27, the leaders of Vinh University decided to temporarily suspend the relevant staff to prepare a report. At the same time, the school is actively directing units within the school to coordinate with the authorities to quickly clarify the incident.

Previously, Facebook account KV posted on the Vinh University Student group with content accusing a school official of inappropriate behavior when a female student of class 65 came to withdraw her transcript.

The article reads: "The teacher told me to go to the car behind the one-door department. I was scared because all the teachers had gone home by then. I followed behind but stood far away, then the teacher turned around and walked parallel to me. When we passed the restroom in the one-door department, which was only about 5 steps away from the back door of the car park, the teacher put his arm around my shoulder, then put his arm around my waist. I was really scared at that moment and immediately pushed the teacher's hand away, then the teacher asked me "Are you shaking or not?"...

According to this Facebook account, the purpose of posting is to warn and remind female students to be careful not to be molested by the teacher. "I think my case is not the first time, because the teacher molested me very publicly, but I was still sober enough to escape. I think if I don't speak up today, many more students will be molested and the incident will go too far."

The post received a lot of attention from students and they wanted the school to investigate and clarify the accuracy of the incident.
