The Long Dien District Police requested that Ms. H. comply with fire safety and prevention requirements at the Hoang Hao gas station.

Quick update at 12 PM on February 17th: Gas station operating without proper permits continues to operate: Police officers detained.

As Thanh Nien newspaper reported, the Hoang Hao gas station on Vo Thi Sau Street, Long Hai Town (Long Dien District), had its business license revoked by authorities but continued to sell gasoline. At noon on February 16th, the Long Dien District Police, in coordination with other authorities, inspected the gas station.

The police in Long Dien District requested Ms. H. to present her business license and other documents related to the operation of her gas station. However, Ms. H. refused to cooperate, used disrespectful language towards the inspection team members, and vandalized property at the station. More seriously, Ms. H. pulled down the gate at the gas station, trapping the police officers who were on duty.

The police in Long Dien District repeatedly reminded Ms. H. to open the door for the inspection team to leave, stating that her actions constituted unlawful detention. However, the shop owner refused to comply. Only when leaders from the Long Hai Town People's Committee and the Long Hai Town Police arrived at the scene and demanded that Ms. H. open the door for the inspection team to leave did the shop owner agree.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Hoang Hao gasoline station had its operating license revoked in 2011 because its assets were seized and auctioned off.
