Temporarily suspend the application of electronic invoices and electronic taxes from May 23 to June 15

The Department of Taxation (Ministry of Finance) has just issued an urgent notice on the plan to temporarily suspend the Tax sector's application systems to serve the relocation of the Tax Department's Data Center.

Accordingly, from May 23 to June 15, a number of tax applications will temporarily stop operating to serve the conversion of the application system from the main data center environment to the backup data center environment (DRC) and vice versa. Specifically: The electronic invoice application will be temporarily suspended from 0:00 to 04:00 on May 24 and from 0:00 to 04:00 on June 14; The electronic tax service application and the transmission axis will be temporarily suspended for 48 hours, from 18:00 on May 23 to 16:00 on May 25 and from 18:00 on June 13 to 16:00 on June 15.

The time the Tax Department's application system was operated at DRC with performance reaching 70% compared to the main data center, including: Electronic invoice application from 4:00 a.m. on May 24 to 0:00 a.m. on June 14; Electronic tax service application and transmission axis from 4:00 p.m. on May 25 to 6:00 p.m. on June 13.

The Tax Department's application system will resume operation on the main data center with the electronic invoice application from 4:00 a.m. on June 14; the electronic tax service application and the transmission axis from 4:00 p.m. on June 15.

During the system suspension period, taxpayers will temporarily stop using the electronic invoice application and electronic tax service application. In which, the electronic tax service application includes: Electronic tax service for businesses (eTax); electronic tax service for individuals (iCanhan); electronic tax service on mobile devices (eTax Mobile); e-commerce information portal; electronic information portal for foreign suppliers; electronic tax service on the National Public Service Portal, the Ministry of Finance's Public Service Portal, and the provincial public service portal.

Taxpayers continue to carry out tax administrative procedures (except electronic tax payment) on electronic tax channels, direct reception, postal services during the upgrading and conversion process...
