Teacher detained for sexually abusing middle school student in Binh Duong.

Regarding the information circulating on social media accusing a teacher of sexually abusing a middle school student, the police in Di An City, Binh Duong province, announced that they have temporarily detained Mr. Van Dinh Luong, a teacher at Vo Truong Toan Middle School.

According to initial investigations, Mr. Luong repeatedly touched the body parts of a female student.

Mr. Luong was detained to clarify the alleged crime of "sexual abuse of a person under 16 years of age," as stipulated in Article 146 of the 2015 Penal Code.

Previously, on social media, the account NN posted information and images accusing a teacher at a junior high school of abusing his power and sexually assaulting a female student.

The accused is Mr. Luong.

Representatives from the local education management agency, the People's Committee of Di An Ward, stated that they have received information about the allegations against the teacher and are coordinating with the police to investigate the matter.

According to VNA, this teacher lured female students to go karaoke and sexually assaulted them. Initial information indicates that he sexually assaulted student TD multiple times. The investigating agency and the family have taken student D. for a medical examination.
