Closing the festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season", the city immediately started preparing for the 2023 Sea Culture - Sports - Tourism Festival with the theme "Tam Ky - Summer rendezvous" (expected to take place from June 10 - 25 at Hoa Ha village beach, Tam Thanh sea square, 1 month earlier than previously planned).

The festival has 6 main activities, including the art program "Tam Ky calls", announcing the tourist destination of Tam Thanh Community Art Village, Ky Anh tunnel; Bai Choi art performance, culinary space, landscape stone display; Tam Ky City Green Tourism Development workshop; organizing sports tournaments associated with the coastal area such as women's beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach soccer, swimming and basket boat shaking;...

In particular, the "Tam Ky Discovery Marathon 2023" race, taking place for the first time in Tam Ky (on June 24-25), organized by Tam Ky City in collaboration with Ben Thanh General Culture Joint Stock Company and Nexus Media Joint Stock Company, promises to be an attractive and interesting playground for many people.

Participants are domestic and foreign professional athletes; people who regularly participate in physical training and sports; running clubs and groups; children, students; local people and foreigners living in Vietnam. The scale of the tournament is expected to have 3,000 - 4,000 athletes competing in distances of 2km (for children), 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km.

In July, there will be two major activities. Regarding tourism, the Ky Anh Tunnels - Dam River Reeds Experience Tourism Week is scheduled to take place from July 9 to 15. This is an opportunity for visitors to explore the national historical site of Ky Anh Tunnels, which is 32km long and one of the three largest tunnels in the country, depicting the historical imprint of the army and people of Tam Ky in the fight against the US to save the country.

At the same time, you can experience the Dam River reed field, a large 180ha river area that is still wild with many rich species of flora and fauna. Along with Ky Anh tunnel, this is the place to shelter Tam Ky guerrillas during the resistance war. For those who love traditional martial arts, from July 14 to 16 at 24/3 Square, the Quang Nam Province Traditional Martial Arts Clubs Open Cup will take place.
