Tan Chau district hands over solidarity houses to near-poor households.

On the afternoon of June 9th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Chau town, in coordination with the Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Bank (Vietinbank) Chau Doc branch and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hoa commune, organized the handover of a "Great Solidarity" house to Ms. Ho Thi De (residing in Vinh Thanh C hamlet, Vinh Hoa commune), a near-poor household facing housing difficulties.

The house has an area of ​​over 32m², with a tiled floor, zinc frame, corrugated iron walls and roof, and Taiwanese sliding doors.

Huynh Van Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Doc town, presented a certificate of appreciation and flowers to thank Bui Thanh Kinh, Director of the Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Bank, Chau Doc branch.

Pham Phi Phong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Hoa commune, expressed his gratitude to the sponsor.

The house, measuring over 32 square meters, features a tiled floor, zinc frame, corrugated iron walls and roof, Taiwanese-made sliding doors, and an attached toilet. The total value of the house is over 100 million VND, of which the Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Bank (Vietinbank) Chau Doc branch contributed 60 million VND, with the remainder contributed by the family and relatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Vinh Hoa Commune People's Committee Pham Phi Phong expressed his gratitude to the sponsoring unit for accompanying the local government in social welfare work and caring for the poor. He congratulated Ms. Ho Thi De's family and hoped that the family would strive to overcome poverty, gradually stabilize their lives, and continue to improve their house to make it more spacious and comfortable.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Doc town presented flowers and a letter of thanks to the sponsoring unit. The Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Bank, Chau Doc branch, also sent gifts to the family to celebrate moving into their new home.
