28,000 gifts were given to visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on National Day.

On September 2nd, the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, distributed 28,000 gifts to visitors paying their respects at the Mausoleum.

On the morning of September 2nd, the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, organized a gift-giving event for visitors paying respects at the mausoleum during the National Day holiday on September 2nd.

A total of 28,000 gifts, including cakes and drinks, were distributed to visitors during this period. These small gift bags are a meaningful and heartwarming gesture to every citizen and international visitor to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during this year's holiday.

From early morning, drinking water and snacks were promptly transported to the designated collection point by officials, staff, and soldiers of the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board. According to Mr. Do Van Dung (64 years old, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi), the gift distribution activity by the organizing committee is very meaningful and practical for the people during these holidays. "We highly appreciate the thoughtfulness of the organizing units," Mr. Do Van Dung expressed.

It is known that from 2018 to the present, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has regularly coordinated with the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to give gifts to people and tourists visiting the Mausoleum, thus becoming an annual activity to support the people and tourists during major holidays.

In 2024, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will give 80,000 gift packages, each containing a bottle of water and a loaf of bread or a carton of milk and a loaf of bread, to visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on major holidays such as the Liberation Day of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30); International Labor Day (May 1); President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19); and National Day (September 2).

According to the leaders of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, this is a practical and meaningful activity of the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board during major holidays, demonstrating the affection of the people of Hanoi towards the people of the whole country and tourists visiting the capital. This activity also aims to promote tourism destinations, contributing to further building the image of Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - High-Quality - Attractive" tourist destination.
