Attending the conference were more than 100 delegates representing the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards; socio-political organizations under the Front; leaders of the People's Committees at the commune level, civil servants in charge of mediation work; grassroots mediators and mediation trainers from the following communes and wards: Long An , Thanh Hoa, Tan Tay, Tan Long, My Thanh, Thu Thua, Binh Duc, Ben Luc, Nhut Tao, Tan An, My An, Khanh Hau, Vinh Cong, Tam Vu, Tan Tru, Thanh Phuoc, Binh Thanh, Thuan My, An Luc Long, Vam Co. Deputy Director of the Department of Justice Ly Hong Huan chaired the conference.

In his opening speech, Mr. Ly Hong Huan highly appreciated the role of grassroots mediation in social life, contributing to maintaining community solidarity, ensuring social order and safety. He emphasized that this is also one of the criteria for considering and recognizing communes that meet the standards of legal access, new rural areas and smart urban areas. In recent years, grassroots mediation in the province has achieved many positive results, with the rate of successful mediation increasing year by year. However, there are still difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved to improve the quality of this activity.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Justice requested the delegates to focus on absorbing the training content, boldly discuss and raise practical difficulties to promptly resolve them; at the same time, requested the People's Committees at the commune level to continue to pay attention to organizing skill training classes and regularly updating legal knowledge for the team of mediators.

At the conference, delegates listened to the reporter present many important contents, including: introducing legal documents on grassroots mediation; instructions on building a model of "Typical commune level on grassroots mediation"; perfecting the Mediation Team; electing and recognizing Mediators and Heads of the Mediation Team; instructions on expenses and expense levels for mediation activities; making minutes of successful and unsuccessful mediation; how to record and monitor mediation activities at the grassroots level...
Through the training conference, delegates were trained and improved their skills and expertise in mediation work at the grassroots level, contributing to the effective implementation of the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators in the period 2024 - 2030". Thereby, enhancing the effectiveness of state management of mediation work, improving the quality of resolving conflicts and disputes in the community, maintaining security and order and strengthening the relationship between villagers.
