The People's Committee of Phan Thiet City has just issued a plan to implement the stockpiling of essential goods to stabilize the market before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City assigned the Economic Department to proactively coordinate with Market Management Team No. 1, the City Police, relevant agencies and units, and the People's Committees of wards and communes to strictly inspect and control compliance with regulations on the selling prices of goods subject to price stabilization, ensuring sufficient supply, quality, and food safety. Particular attention should be paid to livestock and poultry meat to serve the people at reasonable prices; at the same time, monitor the situation of essential goods stockpiled for price stabilization by units before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
The stabilized selling prices of goods from businesses participating in the program are stable and 5-10% lower than market prices.
Timely advise the City People's Committee to report and propose to the Department of Industry and Trade response measures to stabilize the market when necessary. Encourage businesses in the city to participate in market stabilization, especially gasoline and oil businesses, to ensure supply to meet the production and consumption needs of the people during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024. At the same time, continue to coordinate with Market Management Team No. 1 to monitor (when requested) the buying and selling of gasoline and oil at retail gasoline stations in the area...
