Welcoming 11,750 visitors during Tet holiday

Thanks to attracting a large number of tourists, tourism activities in the mountainous district of Tanh Linh took place quite bustlingly during the Lunar New Year 2024.

According to the district's Department of Culture and Information, during the recent Tet holiday, the number of visitors to tourist areas and spots in Tanh Linh increased by thousands. It is estimated that in February 2024 - the month of the Giap Thin Lunar New Year, the whole district will welcome about 11,750 visitors, bringing the number of visitors to the locality since the beginning of the year to nearly 15,450.

On this occasion, the district's functional department coordinated with relevant units and the People's Committees of communes and towns to inspect and remind investors and tourism businesses to stabilize prices. At the same time, they posted and sold at the listed prices, especially the prices of accommodation and food, as well as ensuring the quality of services for tourists in tourism business activities. In addition, they monitored and urged to strengthen management to ensure safety for tourists, installed warning signs in dangerous areas, areas prone to physical accidents, drowning accidents, etc. to prevent drowning.

Before Tet, the Chairman of the District People's Committee also requested specialized departments, functional units and authorities of communes and towns in the area to deploy tourism services for the 2024 Lunar New Year.
