Increase stimulus solutions, stabilize the market at the end of the year

The Department of Industry and Trade has just issued an official dispatch deploying solutions to develop the market, stimulate consumption and stabilize the market in the last months of 2025.

Accordingly, the People's Committees of wards and communes directed specialized departments to deploy market development solutions, striving to increase total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue by 12% in 2025 compared to 2024; support businesses to expand their distribution networks, develop more price stabilization points of sale, convenience stores, markets and shopping centers, etc. The Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion builds promotion programs, fairs, promotions, connects supply and demand and effectively implements the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

At the same time, encourage businesses to promote flexible promotions such as discounts, gifts, and vouchers, especially for slow-moving products.

At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the Department of Finance to guide businesses to register to reserve essential goods, implement the price stabilization program at the end of the year and the Lunar New Year 2026. The authorities will strengthen market inspection and control, prevent speculation, hoarding, and unreasonable price increases, contributing to ensuring stable supply and demand.
